More than aesthetics 2 πŸ€—πŸ’•

Towards the end of this year, (and by the end I mean the very end of the third quarter) I made a decision to express and appreciate myself both in the little things and the big things. It has not been easy, but it’s a journey I’m determined to go on. I had mentioned earlier my love for my nails and how they play a large (although slightly weird πŸ˜‚)role in my self confidence and, I’ve also played with colours and how they made me feel. Here’s a few more I managed to try out :

Glimmering in the nude

As usual, I wanted to play it safe and when I first tried it on, “that’s too plain ” is what came to my mind but then I remembered how often those words have been used to hurt people and right there, I continued to put it on. The glitter was just a last minute thing. When I was done, I had another look at it. I felt more mature than pretty, and strangely more in control (of what exactly, I wasn’t sure) I felt simply elegant.

Nothing says YOLO like Yellow

Need I say more, I constantly had my fingers on my face while taking pictures and I generally felt like a flower during the period I wore this polish. No doubts what ever, I was on cloud nine for sure. I was really surprised when some people said it was an unusual colour. I mean, it’s fun and fabulous, not to mention exciting.

White Knight

Somehow I felt like a warrior princess in this, plain and simple!

Comment below on what you’ve tried out and how it made you feel.
